Meeting feels good
Wake up on Friday mornings and come to The Rotary Club of Ellerslie Sunrise. It doesn’t matter where you live; our members come from all over the Auckland region to enjoy breakfast at the Ellerslie Function Centre. Join us to listen to stimulating speakers addressing business, political and social issues. Naturally you’ll network and socialise with other business people, so it’s a great way to meet new people and an effective way of staying in touch with the community and world you live in.
You’ll see, hear and meet people you would probably never have the opportunity to otherwise. Don’t be surprised if there are other unique experiences along the way too.
The Rotary Club of Ellerslie Sunrise has a membership of about 55 dynamic men and women with a wide range of business, professional and personal interests. Over time, we know you’ll develop many firm friendships.

Meeting does good
Rotary is an incredibly effective organisation. As individuals, it is sometimes difficult to affect change, fundraise or be noticed. But the cumulative capacity of many Rotarians working together makes Rotary very powerful.
Members are all part of working committees that meet on a monthly basis to plan and undertake Club projects. These meetings generally take place in the evenings. The committees work to support youth, local community, national, international and vocational causes. The Rotary Club of Ellerslie Sunrise also has a committee to oversee the operation of the Club and another to fundraise.
We are the organisers behind the annual Artworks exhibition, this year at St Matthew-in-the-City. This project has, over the past seven years, raised more than $1 million for youth related charities and other Rotary projects.
Meeting is good fun
So we meet regularly for breakfast and undertake a range of service projects. But there’s more to Rotary at Ellerslie Sunrise. We place a big emphasis on providing regular opportunities for social occasions. There’s generally a social event offered once a month for members, partners friends and family. Together, we enjoy dining, functions, concerts, special interest events and much more.
